Leon makes a welcome return, following on from his visit in March 2019.  The first three works fulfil the request of an anonymous sponsor, and the second half features the final Schubert sonata, with which Leon also ends a four recital residency in 2022 at London’s Wigmore Hall, where the final four sonatas by Schubert are being performed alongside late works by Haydn and Mozart.  Leon’s frequent concerto and recital performances and his ever expanding and impressive discography have established him as a pianist of great integrity and variety, particularly in the classical, romantic and 20th century repertoire.
