Mario Häring was born in November 1989 in Hanover, Germany and grew up in Berlin.  Descended from a German-Japanese family of musicians, he gained his first experiences with the piano and violin at the young age of three years, and in 1994 took up his first piano lessons.  He completed his studies in 2017, including working with Lars Vogt.  In 2018 he was runner-up in the Leeds International Piano Competition and has since had engagements throughout Europe, Asia and the USA.  His programme of 19th century works is one of considerable variety.
