Tom Poster has an unusually extensive repertoire as evidenced by his programme, in which dark and dazzling masterpieces by Beethoven and Chopin frame a diverse selection of nocturnes interspersed with his own arrangements of American songs, through which he aims to create a continuous dream-like sequence, in which unexpected resonances may be heard.  Tom features regularly on BBC radio and television and has made multiple appearances at the BBC Proms; he is Artistic Director of the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective, an ensemble committed to musical diversity.  He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and at King’s College, Cambridge.
