Born in California in 1998, Ignas was raised in Lithuania. Studying with Joanna MacGregor at the Royal Academy of Music, he won the Royal Overseas League competition in March 2024 and is supported for his recital here by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust. His programme includes contemporary and C20th works and is completed by Schubert’s final sonata, the majestic D.960.
