We begin our 24th season with a much anticipated return of Martin Roscoe, who opened our 2017-18 series with an outstanding recital, received enthusiastically by one of our largest audiences in recent years.  Once again, his programme includes a late Schubert sonata.  In a career spanning over four decades, Martin has established an enduring popularity, with frequent broadcasts, solo and chamber music recitals and over 100 recordings of an extensive and diverse repertoire.  Martin is a Professor of Piano at the Guildhall School of Music and director of a number of festivals in the UK.
