Steinway Artist Simon Callaghan is a prolific solo and chamber musician, playing throughout the world - recent tours have taken him to Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and Canada.  He has an interest in rarely performed works and his rapidly expanding discography includes music by Sterndale Bennett, Parry and Roger Sacheverell Coke as well as concerto recordings for Hyperion’s Romantic Piano Concerto series, by Coke, Rheinberger and Scholz.  He regularly performs at the Husum Festival (renowned for its scheduling of piano rarities) and is Director of Music at Conway Hall, where he oversees the longest running chamber music series in Europe.
