Clare makes a welcome return after her first recital for us in November 2014. Her career has continued to develop apace and her recital, chamber music and concerto performances are in great demand throughout the UK. Alongside these, she has and managed the festival ‘Panufnik 100: a family celebration’ with the Brodsky Quartet at Kings Place in London and also made her film debut as the younger version of Maggie Smith’s character, ‘Miss Shepherd’, in the Alan Bennett film adaptation, The Lady in the Van. A number of recordings have also been made, particularly of contemporary works and her extensive programme includes a work commissioned from the young British composer, Ed Finnis, which will be premiered shortly before its performance for us.
